I think someone got booked for that once, also it shows disrespect to the other team and can cause a punch up as they get all angry about it.

Can you imagine what Adomah's goal would've have been like in with the fans there today? Last game of the season, probably close to a full house, last QPR goal of of the season (but his first at home), smack bang centre of the Loft, that would have been some celebration from the fans and pure elation for Albert!
