Agree. We should go for the throat as hungrily as we can, and not just field a B side. After two painfully disappointing games, we have a chance tonight to make meaningful, spirit-raising process in the only cup comp. we've ever won in the year of my birth, however degraded it's become. Was going to say exactly the same, and, I don't know why, but I suspect that may be the case. Goalie will be interesting, but outfield, I think we might be something like:

Amos Ball
Chair Willock
Gray

There will be wholesale changes tonight, that is the point of the squad and how it needs to be played. Tonight is, for sure, well down the list in terms of importance despite what MW says......he will want to preserve the players for the WBA game.
As I said somewhere previously I expect 6 changes......Goalie, Dunne, Thomas, Dozzell, Amos (if it is true that he is being eased back in tonight - maybe sub or first 60 mins) Albert, Kakay to name a few....think we will go back to one up front.
I anticipate a slow game all around the pitch but with a good atmosphere. It is as shame really because I think the game is there to be won & we may still win it. [Post edited 21 Sep 2021 16:08]
