Absolutely gutted. Felt 166 was maybe 15 runs light as we never quite got going, but considering this team is shorn of Archer, Stokes, Mills and Roy, its done really well. Telling that the two matches Mills missed, we lost. Really thought we had it after that Livingstone over, but a rare nightmare from CJ cost us and they were flying after that. If Bairstow's wonder catch had counted, we might have done it. You think fine margins, but in T20 terms, they won comfortably.
Good for them, great team. Not taking a run when one of them accidentally blocked Rashid from fielding sums them up as terrific sports people. |  |
