For once this suits me better and will now probably be able to make all three games where as before all three were doubtful.

Bravo to Sky…….Still a piss take though…

The only thing that will ever force them to take notice of the depth of people's feelings is if everyone boycotts a live TV game. i know there's very little chance of obtaining the consensus needed to do this but as an ST holder who's already paid for all the games I'd be very willing to do it because I am so utterly sick of them treating the supporters like sh-t.

Silver lining - Could be Kempton on Boxing Day.
Plenty of Guinness and bacon rolls.

Bournemouth are up at Boro with a 12:30 kick-off. Good old SKY.

Fulham FC: It's the taking part that counts

A whole minute of the crowd singing “ f@ck off Sky” or “you can stick your f@cking sky up your a@se” might show the b@stards that we aren’t happy. Not that they will ever listen.
If it’s our ninth live game of the season,do it in the 9th minute and so on to the 10th,11th and probably 16th by the end of the season.
Or everybody turn their backs on the game for 1 minute.Something needs to be done to stop them killing live football.

There is also the spectre of regular season ticket holders saying they have had enough and won't be renewing. This topic should be brought up at the next fan forum if anyone reading this is going.

The grass is always greener.

Exactly my view too.If I’d known that 1/2 of our games would be shown on live tv I wouldn’t have spent over £450 on a season ticket this year. It’s only the fact that I’ve been doing the same for over 50 years and it becomes a hard habit to break.

If Bournemouth fans travel by train will have to go up on Friday as it's impossible to reach that early on a Saturday. But remember Football is Nothing Without The Fans

And I reckon they’d be pretty late getting home on the Saturday night too,but thanks to Sky they’ll get there 2 1/2 hours earlier.
As you say “ football is nothing without fans.”

So you'd rather sit at home and give your money to Sky, than come to KPFS and give your money to the club??????

If sky changing the fixtures means I can’t get to games because I’m working then what is the point giving money to the club for an empty seat?
And me giving up my season ticket won’t stop Sky from putting us on as often as they do now.It just means less games for my money.

Sorry, I read yours and the other posters saying ST holders will give up as they/you will give up because you can watch the games on Sky!

Point that I have made previously and others also, is that for every match, inc Cardiff, you get people on here saying "Is it on Sky?"

If no one watched Championship football then they wouldn't pay millions for it and wouldn't get the contract.

The reason they ask is because QPR+ is not exactly 100% way of watching a game with the screen freezing from time to time or in the case of Wycombe away last season just not working whereas Sky does not have the same issues. Then throw in Nick's Cheerleader commentary which can get a bit sickly from time to time(Obviously still a mile ahead of Andy Hinchcliffe and his clear dislike for QPR and most of their commentary team whose knowledge of Championship is severely lacking)

I think the reason some are suggesting they will give up seasons tickets is not due to being able to watch it on Sky but because the games are moved to times they can't get to. Many find it hard to go midweek with work and travel

Plus the fact Dave, that for those of advanced years the attraction of sitting freezing your nuts off for two hours in the open air on a midwinter evening is something that it’s pretty easy to resist!

I don't have Sky only NOW TV, so I have never watched a match on the red button. Streaming has occasional issues but on the whole, fingers crossed for tonight, it is pretty reliable. (it's not easy typing with crossed fingers!)

I think the reason they ask is to find out if they have to spend a tenner on a stream.

Forest fans started to do that on Friday and I was hoping all four sides would join in but it rather fizzled out. Really needs to be a co-ordinated and prolonged effort.

That pretty much sums it.
I gave my ST up a few years back due to mainly age and getting to games
I still average about 22 to 28 games a season. Cardiff tonight there is family going up from Windsor and it will be 3 hourish run for them, but they are all under 40 and have not had the advantage of the years of disappointment ground into them 🙄
Getting back to Kent at silly o clock in the morning is a young man's game
So I will be red button tonight..... MrsTinT will no doubt be rolling her eyes again as she is relegated to the small screen in the kitchen.
But in spirit I will be there.....just warmer that is all

One thing I would say in Sky's defence is that they are doing what they think is best for their customers and their business so I don't really blame them. If the tv contract was sold to BBC, BT, ITV or whoever tomorrow we'd face the same issues as fans as they would be doing exactly the same.

It's the EFL, Premier League and FA who should be putting things in place to protect their customers and ensure games are not moved around as they currently are, that should be something agreed when they sell the tv rights. UEFA do it with the champions league, you buy the tv rights but they dictate when the games will be played not the tv companies.

Surely the right answer is to just eliminate the 3pm Saturday blackout that was put in place back in the dark ages as it was done during Covid? Maybe just for the EFL and not PL?

Not suer how Many L1 games they show but t=in the international break Sky show at ;east 1 or 2 I think, in terms of league 2 a bit less, but also dfactor in they show all the play off games, so that helps push the tally up for L1 and 2 I should imagine.

Thats... 10 together I think, in L1 and L2? in play off semis and finals

football sold out to the devil and we are paying for it as fans, tv wants the atmosphere as part of the match experience and want seats filled for the drama. remember itv sending us to huddersfiield for an 11am ko??

I have never understood the moaning about trains, being cancelled, not running. Surely most people have a car or if you don’t, you know someone in the group with one. Why not take it in turns to drive to matches?? and it’s so much cheaper. You’ll save an absolute fortune
