Amazingly, I went with 45 other young bucks as the total support on the old Daphne Biggs supporters coach to Blackpool for the overnight stop over in the Easter Bank Holiday in 1965. It rained all the time that we were there.
Lost 5 -3 at Oldham on Good Friday then drew 0-0 with Port Vale on Saturday. There were ten of us booked in for bed and breakfast in someones roof in Blackpool!!
Also remember "Yes it is " by the Beatles being played continuously on a juke box in a coffee bar next door. Every this else is a blank.
Hope you have a more memorable and rewarding stay in Blackpool than I did. And you're not booked into staying in someone's roof either.
