Hi guys,
Glasgow Rangers Fan through and through here and also a QPR fan too as my English team so it's been a weird week for me.
Beales comments were harsh after rejecting the Wolves job BUT if Glasgow Rangers comes calling you simply can't knock them back, the fan base 50,000 every second week, European football and the club is huge, massive an institution.
We don't get the credit we deserve down in England but once players , fans , managers come for example Defoe, Hill, Warburton they all say the same thing that we miles ahead of QPR. Hence why Mick has picked us.
For example look at Clint Hill played with QPR for years was a fans favourite came to Glasgow Rangers for 1Season and he's stating that Mick Beale can't knock back Glasgow Rangers as we're too big a club. We are much bigger than all Championship teams and lots of premier league teams.
If the old firm had the Money PL teams get we'd be challenging top 4-6 in the PL - fact
Anyway I hope QPR get a good manager in and get us back into the PL where we belong.
I'd go for Scott Parker.

As for the rest of the team, quite flattering really as you obviously realise that most would walk straight into your League One equivalent team. I'm forever hearing Rangers and Celtic fans talk about how big they are, and I believe its to convince themselves more than anything else.
Fact is: both clubs could walk down most major thoroughfares and provide free viewing of their games around the world and they'd go largely unnoticed and unwatched.
Scottish football just isn't exciting, especially when its sole focus are the two whales that inhabit the small sea they swim in.
Telling us that Hill and Defoe rated it ignores the fact that one of them never played for a big club; one did and wouldn't have gone north in his heyday and both were over-the-hill and couldn't last in the Prem but managed to eek out a few years in Scotland.
Equally, the Championship is the fourth most attended league in the world after the Prem, La Liga and Bundesliga and frankly, probably the most exciting of the lot. Certainly a lot harder to succeed here with QPR than succeed with GR in the Scottish Prem.
It also seems to me that Beale despite his girth, he might not have had as much belly for the fight as we thought. If he wants to go to the Scottish Prem fine, but he's left a more challenging and interesting league for dirge and rest assured, he ain't looking to stay there forever. |  |

FWIW I've always thought despite somewhat sharing a name, Glasgow Rangers are a miserable bunch, even before reading your self-indulgent and hallucinogenic comments that no one here has asked for. Leaving behind all the ugly nationalistic sectarianism your fanbase seems to be so in-love with, you're firmly the second best team in Scotland, and everyone else knows it.
Going out on a limb here, but if QPR were able to face Ross county 4 times a year, I don't think Europa qualification would be out of the realms of possibility, and hey I guess you had the pleasure of being thrashed by every champions league team you played this year so I guess that sets you apart from the rest. Just not in the way you'd hope.
That's not even approaching the subject of Beale, who btw on behalf of all QPR fans you are most welcome to.
Lastly a couple of things. You can't afford our players, so good luck with your empty threats of trying to poach our best players. You'll be saving for three transfer windows to afford just one of Willcok or Chair and even then its 50/50 if they'd come. At the end of the day, we must sell and re-invest to survive, so if you can chump up 10 Million for Willock be our guest.
Lastly, every club is an institution you numpty, that's why we and most clubs have a devoted community that empty our pockets to keep our clubs going. Believe it or not, we're a pretty hardy bunch, who have been through a lot and we rangers supporters will be here come what may. Yourselves are seemingly unable to run your club without endangering the future sustainability of your club every few years. So who knows, what the future will bring.
