This is classic spin from the club. We so rarely get an interview with a player after the game. The captain should be speaking to Nick London with his stupid questions. I don’t want to see some made up comment from Dunne. I can’t even remember who was our captain on Saturday. I want to see Nick London ask whoever our captain was to ask was it appropriate after suffering a defeat to League 1 team with a piss poor performance to start laughing and smiling in front of the fans straight after the game? Ask them how do you think the fans feel after spending the best part of 12 hours on the motorway on Saturday? So many questions to ask.

There is ALWAYS a player quote a few days after a game - win, lose or draw.

Here we go again Sat/Sun its "Say something" now its no "No not you - YOU say something. Oh and here's what I want you to say and here's the question I want asked"

I'd have preferred Dykes to make a statement as to why he felt it was acceptable to be laughing and joking with the opposition manager straight after the game!

But different posters have different views, Pinner. Not really surprising and nothing to get excited about.🙄. Put your calm officials head on.😁

Just back from a VERY one sided and cold AR duty - so that's not going to work!

I have bemoaned the lack of culpability for many years (as some have commented) but I am glad that someone (whomever it is Jimmy, the team, the PR, I don't care who) has said something - but it has taken longer than I think a lot of supporters would have wanted.

Think of any situation where you have been let down and the responsible party has not said 'sorry', the longer it goes on the more you get annoyed and when they do, you have to say " But..." and I think that is the reaction here.

I would like to see the players (and or the manager MAKE the players) ALL circuit the ground after any further performances like that last weekend but I am aiming for the stars and we in the UK know we cannot get that far just yet!

This is a similar response to a few others we have seen over the last few seasons.

If the players really felt so bad about their performance they could at least offer to repay the fans expenses for watching that.

Overall I think that is something that the PR team at the club put the players up to do and probably prepare bullet points and comments for the players.

tell you what would be really nice, rather than Jimmy (really likeable bloke, btw) coming out with that (with no explanation as to why there weren't at it on Saturday, what possible excuse can they have?), why not all of them come straight out of the blocks on Saturday as if they really mean what he says and not have the usual crap for the first period. Why are we so rarely (home or away) on the front foot first off and looking like we mean business?

I like the fact that the coach spoke out on Saturday, which is a bold thing to do in todays game for fear of player mutiny - I would have liked a joint statement from Ruben, Amit, Lee and Les criticising the attitude rather than a soundbite from Dunne.

Lets see how he gets on-on Saturday, Andy Carroll has just signed a new contract until the Summer of next year.

"AC is the perfect example to follow for any young striker," said Royals manager Paul Ince.

"Not simply in the chances he creates or the goals he scores, but the phenomenal work rate he shows in every minute of every game."

Yea lets just see how JD gets on Saturday.

Apologies In advance for mentioning that vvanker Ince

Well done.
