Rest of the Championship thread 11:07 - Aug 10 with 213864 views | Hunterhoop | Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc? For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te? Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull. Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

‘Right lads - this is what we do with the ball and this is what we do without it.’ Eustace is just preparing the club for the return of Rooney. We could do worse than ask him back if he becomes available and we have a vacancy in the summer. To be clear - I mean Eustace !
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Darlow has also played the last two WC qualifiers for Wales and looked ok, so it's not as if he hasn't played for months

A solid enough keeper for this level, which is why it's even more remarkable it's taken him this long.

Rest of the Championship thread on 12:54 - Apr 5 with 1114 views | actonman | No surprise there ! Lootown are in a good run of form that will see them safe regardless of todays result , like us , a confidence team just needed a win somewhere or a bit of luck to get them back on track

That will give them a nice confidence boost ahead of Wednesday night. Although I given our dreadful away form I can only see one result anyway.

True, we were both awful in the first half but they looked nailed-on relegation favourites. Rowett has done an incredible job. If they finish above us, Nourry should be getting his P45.

They've got some players there that are of a higher grade to what we have playing in similar positions. Most notably: Cameron Brannagan who is a very versatile midfield player, playing in a deeper-lying definsive role at present, but can play in the advanced midfield positions too. How he has not been signed by another championship team way before Oxford got promoted, is beyond me. Way better than Verane, Colback, Madsen, Anderson. [Post edited 7 Apr 10:54]
