I mean, I don’t have the list of who’s is ending in June, but it’s playing with fire trying to ensure survival with half your squad needing a new club in three months isn’t it?
How can you expect any of them to put their body on the line when their financial security is doubt or they are courting new clubs.
Would also explain a lot of the injuries we’re getting.

Maybe in Football Manager or FIFA or databaseTM or whatever, it doesn't factor in the human aspect of letting contracts run down. Especially all at the same time.
Nourry is an abject idiot, miles out of his depth in both of his roles.
Our Board, Amit, Reuben, whoever - yet another genius decision on their long list. I remain convinced they mean well, so reverse the mistake like you did with Ainsworth. Hold him accountable and get rid.

Isn't this a recurring issue though, especially if you're in the mire as opposed to say, the effort put in by Messrs Salah, VVD, and TAA at title chasing Liverpool?
If my memory's correct, didn't Gareth Hall 'refuse' to play a few years back from around March. I can just about see their point, but doesn't make it acceptable. Equally, I'm sure these boys are insured up the wazoo against the prospect of injury preventing them from taking up a new contract.
So, if they are ducking out, fck 'em!

I don’t think it’s really anything to do with contracts expiring, though Dunne’s head has unfortunately completely gone since Sheff Utd offered him significantly more than we were offering to extend his deal.
It’s simply (imo) too many players who know we are safe now and are fully on the sunbed already. Not helped by injuries obviously and Morgan who was single handedly running our midfield for much of the season now being completely shattered. He has been a credit to himself but he’s never played more than 19/20 games a season in youth football and deserves to already be in Mykonos.

If those players “know” we are safe, then they are massively deluded.

Unfortunately I agree on the current form and attitude of Jimmy. Don't get me wrong I think he is putting in what is necessary but he is not doing the 'marauding' runs and putting himself about in front of goal as he did pre SU sniffing around. I don't think he'll be here next season, I wouldn't say he's on the beach at the moment, but IMO he has ceased the bungee jumping for the comfortable recliner.

Maybe, but do you think it is that or is it that other teams have worked out our Plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and quite possibly I is.....Jimmy Dunne?
Was very pleased to see the fake long throw yesterday when Smyth played it short. A change!
Sadly clubs should now see a four year contract as a three year one - we know players bin off the last six months and inevitably have six months of a tight calf or similar during their contract.
Maybe contracts should be backloaded and performance related in the back end of the term, somehow to incentive performance in the exit year - albeit in my mind, if I was knowingly in the shop window I would put in the extra effort, this is just another example of the crazy alternative approach on football.

So now you know what other clubs are offering our players who are still under contract with QPR. Your tentacles of knowledge extend far.

It’s more surprising that you honestly don’t think the club - who thought we had a new deal agreed before they came in - have been told by his agent what Sheff were offering….
