Is it Hamer time? 08:58 - Oct 26 with 26552 viewsWilkinswatercarrier

Every time that ball goes in the box my heart is in my mouth, Nardi appears welded to his goal line.

Opposition have clearly done their homework on him and he is costing us points big time.
I know some will say defensively we should be better, but it must be a nightmare defending in front of him. I mean not claiming a ball in your own 6 yard box!

Maybe Hamer should have a go?

I don't get why this is an either/or.

Nardi absolutely has to come and catch or punch that.
All defenders should be goalside of their men regardless and trying to anticipate trouble.

That ball was in air a long time, plenty time for everyone to get into position.

Nardi needs to learn to come for crosses, taking out whoever is in the way. Doesn't matter if its the attacker or 1 of our defenders.

Sadly, I think it's too late in his career and too ingrained in his psyche, to see that happening.

So what you're effectively saying is that it's the defenders' fault because they know that Nardi doesn't come for crosses and therefore it's on them to cover his shortcomings. Great logic.

Sorry, this is the Championship, not Hackney Marshes. If our keeper usually makes a mess of trying to claim routine balls into the six yard box then the answer is to find a keeper who deosn't.

Not really, what I'm saying is that it's a collective cock up, Nardi could do better but so could the defenders. It's far too easy to just blame it all on the keeper. Morris had a tap in with no QPR defender within 10 yards of him

He tried that at Sheffield Wednesday and gifted them a goal

Every time the ball is gently wafted towards the 6yd box I turn into Fraser....."DOOMED! WE'RE ALL DOOMED!"

I loom forward to hearing DaveB and any others posters thoughts on the goals conceded today, specifically Nardi's involvement......

He was far better last season. Should the management take some blame for dropping him for Walsh? Confidence shot?
