| Bristol City v Swansea City : Match day thread : UPDATED on 23:20 - Nov 22 by onehunglow | 2000 were there today supporting them It shows fans are pretty much simply hoping for good things We need the players to “ support” the fans aspirations We’ ll be as we are . |
Proper fans will always be there, as they were when we were genuinely cr@p. This is a bad patch, fans, players and club need to be pulling together in the right direction. At the very least, passion and grit.

It starts with the players We need proper fans to accept other fans who are more cynical It’s not a crime , although reading some of these posts You’d think it is What about the STs who don’t go to games ? Plenty of them have had enough It means they care and won’t stand there and take shite Every fan is a proper fan Brand following like Liverpool fc and United is not fandom

I don't think the club could survive purely on "proper fans" and there lies a problem for the club. We need to keep all supporters interested and relatively happy to progress, currently this is not what we are doing. After the promise and expectation in the summer the club have failed to deliver, it's up to them to deliver a product that is worth watching. I may be a "proper fan" I may not, but one thing for sure is for the first time in many years I am not enjoying watching the Swans and find it a labour actually going. IMO the club need to turn this around not me.

Has there been a post match interview with O'Dea or did he just walk down the tunnel and keep walking. Still no official statement on incoming or outgoing since Sheehans departure.

Do we know if he actually go back in the dressing room or did a great escape back to Scotland? 😂😂. For me I'm glad he's gone. People will argue we have been rotting before his arrival and blame players. Yes they have a part to play. But.. The team yesterday was a copy and paste of Sheehan reign. And he was in Sheehan's ear. Sadly in my opinion he contributed to where we are at and more than most will admit.

You just get the feeling something was or is rotten behind the scenes. I’m hoping as of yesterday that rot has been removed.

He's in his right to be annoyed that Sheehan left. But why didn't he say that he should of done better? Something know one has spoken about. The club didn't get rid of Sheehan for the sake of it. O Dea was in the passenger seat and he has to be accountable for the results as much as Sheehan and others. But instead he played the victim card and by not addressing fans for me screams arragance. Is it Dimi? Has he been given too much power behind the scenes? When Montague left there was a veiled accusation of “everyone needs to pull together” so he was at loggerheads with someone obviously.i hope the owners didnt show him the door because he wanted Hellberg instead of Sheehan, or didn’t want to appoint O’Dea or stood up to Dimi because if that’s the case we got rid of the wrong fella.

This is my thinking. Throw in later signings in the window that possibly they had been discussing, Idah?

Apparently so. His background is the online betting industry and is now head of data-driven recruitment I am led to believe? It's recent news to me as well. A sizeable leap in career trajectory like that suggests to me that the candidate is either a genius polymath or a fraudulent bullshitter. Time will tell.... Others on here will know the finer details I'm sure.
