I think it deserves a thread of its own.

A lot going on in tonight's episode.

Fiona quite right to not trust Rachel & vice versa.

I actually felt a little bit sorry for Turkey Teeth Sam when he was in that cage.

Jessie saying here they all come chatting a load of bollocks was my favourite bit of this episode.

But most of all How da fukk is Reece not putting 2 and 2 together?!?! Those red dots appearing on the family tree right where Rachel & Stephen told him they needed to be left alone the night before.
He deserves to be left in a cage overnight for that!!

He'll be murdered and that protects Stephen a little bit.

What's interesting is the mindset of the former chief inspector. It appears to be: "My gut instinct from day one has been to that you are a traitor and nothing is going to change my mind, no matter what evidence is put before me! "

It makes you wonder about how the police force really operates.

I'm getting tired of 'secret' relationships. Apparently there is still another link yet to be discovered in there involving our retired DCI

Just click the red X in the original post to ignore the thread. That's what I'm about to do.

Don’t know if anyone has noticed but in the space of a few early episodes they seem to have reduced it to an all white cast.

I suspect the next conflict will be young versus old.

First time I’ve watched a series, it’s actually a very clever examination of human nature and not necessarily in a good way.

Stephen is terrible at this game, he falls apart at the round table and trips himself up.

The DCI is also pretty poor at this and is pointing in the wrong direction all the time.

I can't see any of the current tratoirs winning this, I think whoever gets recruited will have a good chance.

Early on in the game, people have little to go on and will make choices based on their biases. That means minorities of that group will always be targeted first. In the first series someone was banished early because she didn't lift her glass quickly – she had a limb difference, and the glass was on that side.

Unconscious bias and confirmation bias quickly spread with the absence of information.

Some of the logic applied at the round table is a bit bizarre. All the fuss about Ross knowing Netty (and the fact Ellie is his girlfriend) - I don't quite understand why they wanted to vote him off mainly because he know another contestant - what difference does that make???

I'm am enjoying watching it but I'm not sure why!

Yes, it was funny that Amanda the detective was wrong about everything and she confided in a traitor (Rachel) as well.

On the programme/podcast afterwards, Maz seemed to find it very funny that the detective got Rachel so wrong - wonder if he was a uniformed officer who made fun of CID/detectives.......

Very suspicious Myke. I will be voting for yourself.

That was a fun episode.

Fiona's gone rogue.
She's clearly a bit put out that Amanda shared her secret with Rachel & not with her, but I think she genuinely believes that Rachel has fabricated Amanda's secret.

But even so, challenging her on it so publicly rather than waiting until they get in the turret is a hell of a gamble. And I think it will result in Fiona getting voted out next.

Rachel has got a lot of Faithfuls around her that will trust her more than they trust Fiona.
And if Fiona gets voted out & tells everyone she's a traitor then that will cement their opinion of Rachel as a faitfhful even more.

Wish someone would murder James, he's got a victim complex, he's quite annoying and he adds nothing to the show.

Fiona wants the power she had as the Secret Traitor and was a 'boss'. It's a power struggle and all the associated drama.

I'm not sure why Rahcel didn't just ask that guy who was in the room when Amanda wanted to tell her the secret to back her up.

Yes, enjoyable how sure she was on who the traitors were (wrong on all 3 counts, and her best friend in the show was a traitor!), and how sure she was that she was helping everyone else (clearly not!). Pride before a fall and all that. She also got herself banished by talking too much about all her theories at the round table, which was a bit dumb.

I think the faithfuls should win this year. The explosion between Fiona and Rachel is sure to eventually result in both being voted out. And every time someone is recruited they tend to crumble. And Stephan’s crumbling already!

Reckon Faraaz wins.

I heard he said to Clive that it didn't work. I'm not sure I trust him and wouldn't be surprised if his name is mentioned at the round table tonight.

Yeah Faaraz has a good chance or that Reece guy, the only way the Traitors win is if they recruit someone now
