Possibly because there was ongoing legal action, Epstein was still alive in prison awaiting trial until 2019, Maxwell was also under investigation as well as others. |  |

I read that Trump's AG Pam Bondi has over 400 attorneys working on making sure all sensitive info regarding the many victims (my daughter says there's a rumor that one of her school classmates is one of these victims) is redacted. I've also heard that even though 1000's of pages in the files have been released, that what's been released is only 1% of the total information! I've also heard that Biden didn't want to release the files since a lot of high profile Democrats are seemingly implicated (Bill Clinton for example). And then of course Trump ran on making the files transparent but I've heard that there's been been some pushback by some Republicans, probably for the same reason Biden didn't want to release the files. I suspect that both the Dems and GOP would really rather the whole Epstein thing just went away. For sure there are plenty of people on both sides of the political spectrum who were much closer to him than they care to acknowledge now.

When you've got such luminaries of the modern left like Noam Chomsky and Billy Clinton taking trips on the Lolita express you begin to understand why most of the calls for the release of the files are coming from online activists rather than major party figures.
