Great save in the first half - still looked iffy on crosses just like our other two keepers. But yeah he probably can't do any worse than them so give him a run in the team.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Watched the highlights (I was so far back it was like watching ants) and there's some good saves

A cynic in me would say Walsh was picked to make sure he was on the telly, but he was good

I was really pleased for him yesterday. He showed good character to bounce back from some shaky performances at the start of the season. I think a lot of that was possibly down to those short goal kick routines and playing around our own pen box for 20 passes which he clearly didn't need or feel comfortable with. Looked a bit flappy on corners in the first half but I thought he grew in confidence with that side of things as the game went on and obviously made 2 or 3 great shot stopping saves during the game. I wonder if he'll get a run again now.

Great post .
Yes he was dragged down by that playing out from the back nonsense.

Some early wobbles aside, Walsh was impressive. I liked that he learned his lesson and adjusted his tactics on corners. The QPR defenders also started offering him more protection which in turn enabled him to make punches. I'm still not convinced about his ability with his feet but he needs matches to improve.
