In isolation, I expected a poor game given the number of injuries we have and a point is a reasonable return.
However, the last few away games in the league, probably since Derby, we've been very poor and the 442 formation doesn't seem to be working away from home. I think we need to try something else, especially with the make up of players who are currently fit. I would have hoped we would have used the last week to work on something different but it seems that JS doesn't want to move away from 442 irrespective of who is and isn't available and the fact recent away performances have been poor. |
In his defence we haven’t had an awful lot of time on the training ground since we started to notice the poor away form. We’ve had the four matches in nine days then the FA Cup match which they probably needed some rest after and was a Sunday match too, then another three match week.
But I agree we need to change things around a bit for the away games. Hopefully we’ll do that after this week if not before. |  | | |
