Anyone complaining today needs a day off. We was brilliant for first 15 minutes. Stoke started to press and they was lucky to keep a few players on, foul on Franco towards end of game, few others early on. A penalty should of been given to us for foul on Galbraith. The ref knew he had made wrong decision on the initial foul from Sorba. And clearly the ref and all lost there heads and realised they would of been a lot of backlash if they aloud there goal to stand. We have struggled alot to break down teams who sit back and irrelevant of them being 10 men we played well. Sometimes it can be more difficult to break down teams when they sit back. With an experienced manager and few tweeks we did well to counter. Key was brilliant today, give him props and Tymon. Enjoy the win. [Post edited 7 Mar 17:48]

To be fair their disallowed goal was a fantastic spot from the linesman. Both offside and blocking the keeper from diving. I didn’t have a clue what it was disallowed for originally. |  |

I can’t agree about Eom. Nor very much with you on Tonald today, he was a lot better than in previous games.
Burgess did play very well.
I think most did well today, no duff appearances, some better than others as ever. But I’d like to have seen us go at them in the second half straight from KO rather than patient build up which was frustrating. I really thought that we were going to huff and puff and not get a goal but thankfully we did. Also at 1-0 I think Stoke could always have got a goal back. They very nearly did. |

We won and it was great to see the crowd appreciate Keys efforts ,Eom terrorised their left back and was more of a threat than Ronald ,Galbriath was strangely indecisive at times ,Nunes tried to hard at times giving away two freekicks just after coming on but understandable as he wants to make his mark. Vig only had to make one save of note but again one which was top drawer .We looked solid at the back except for a mad moment when we sat back allowed them two very good chances. All in all a pleasing result against a team who are so far removed from the beautiful game you could get. | |

I’ve got one complaint.
WHY DONT WE WHIP EVERY CORNER INTO THE BOX.
We were taking a few corners short which literally leads to us struggling to get a cross into the box when we literally just had an opportunity to get a cross into the box from said corner.
Then when we did whip the ball into the box from the corner we get our first goal, excellent.
So don’t take any corners short. Whip the bloody ball into the box, why? Because it gets goals.
I’m not whinging after a cracking win though.

Key was MotM in the Lounge. What a professional. He did the presentation and the interview, stayed to his his photo taken with all the kids, went around every one of the tables for those who called him over, even ours! At one stage I thought they were going to give him the keys to lock up, he stayed that long.
Compare that to Vigs. Last time he was there, he had a photo with Kev Johns for the presentation and left very sharpish. There were about 20 kids waiting and he ignored them all. two of the kids were crying. Kev Johns explained that he had left his coat behind in the rush and he would be back. The kids waited, but no. He sent someone else up to fetch his coat.
Absolutely thrilled for Josh Key today. We still haven't conceded a league goal with him on the pitch in 2026. | | | |

The better the quality of the whipped in cross the easier it is to attack and hard to defend against
