As I’ve said Vig is a brilliant reaction saver and has pulled off many great saves he had no right to get near and has saved us more than once but he does stay stuck on his line a lot and hesitates to come off it ,It’s just something he does

Matos and the coaching team are getting a lot of things right currently which is credit to them, there are a few things however that still mystify me and I would love to understand his rationale for:
1. Picking Ronald for every game - the guy cannot beat a man, his crossing is woeful, consistently loses possession which more than often than not ends with us defending for our lives...his shortcomings far outweigh whatever defensive value he adds (we do have a right back there to defend) so whats his purpose other than extra cover?? Even the past few match commentators have raised the same points, one calling him a 'barrell chested journeyman' which was harsh but funny.
2. Leaving Yalcouye out - Bar his early games I think he has demonstrated a great work ethic, gets forward to support attacks, good range of passing and offers creativity along with being capable of chipping in with a goal? I
As i've said before Matos is steadily turning us into a better team, I personally think we could improve even further by addressing the 2 points above. | |

1. Fully agree, he and Eom are woefully short of what's needed, but Ronald is especially crap. Problem lies with who can they replace them with. Nunes has flattered to deceive and Inoussa is injured (hardly pulled up trees when fit)
2. I like Yalcouye as a player, but i don't know who out of Stamenic, Franco, Galbraith you could drop. Only way to bring in Yalcouye is to chnage shape, and that won't be happening any time soon |  |

When Ron gets the n the ball , part of us gets excited as he can look the part , until he comes up to an opponent to whom he loses the ball
If he does get past his crosses are pitiful

Eon and Ronald have seen off all the new signings to retain their places. Throw in the other two whipping boys Fulton and Cullen who are not automatic starters but frequently used. So have we made some very poor signings in the last 12 months or are the four mentioned not as bad as some think, after all the club is progressing while playing them. |  | | |

Nunes obviously doesn’t do enough in training to take his place. I’m 1000% in agreement on Ronald McDonald, unless as a wide man. Eom is another who flatters to deceive, good at times but not consistent and weak on the ball, gets knocked off the ball too easily. | | | |

Ronald's "per 90" attacking stats are absolutely terrible.
I think there is reasonable argument to say Yalcouye is effective as an early sub - if you have been working hard in midfield for 60 minutes the last thing you want to see if that little terrier joining the pitch. Whereas I wonder if he has the concentration levels yet to go up against fresh opposition from the start?
The third point I would add to your list is why there is a clear instruction to Vig to go long given our inability to win headers in midfield and up front (and yes I know going long led to the first goal...). Even when do win it aerial (normally Eom!) it typically just leads to loose ball that is more often than not mopped up by the opposition. The only time he seems to pass it short is to Burgess / Cabango who just then do his job of going long... | | | |
