Couldnât agree more. Getting a lot of flack from one or two people on my watts app group in Ireland for my inability to go along with the great Mayo bandwagon .
They fully deserved to win the final but milking it doesnât even come close.
Being a neighbouring county to Mayo it hasnât been much fun . Especially watching a town based in Roscommon being taken over by throngs of Mayo supporters celebrating the â bigâ win has been difficult to watch .
For myself itâs like watching Brentford or Chelsea lording it over QPR . Hard to take .
Iâm not bitter though , it just the Murphys.

A couple of my neighbours (safely inside the Sligo border) made the mistake of going to Charlestown last weekend for a quiet pint, tinking the excitement would have died down by now. The pub they went into had âThe Green and Red of Mayoâ on a loop. They left after one drink!
Yes the Ballagh thing is especially galling. I went up to the school last Friday for the LC results and Mayo flags all over the town! I get the whole Andy Moran thing, but still didnât feel right. | | | |
