Mayo are an established Division 1 team with superb forwards in O'Donoghue, Conroy and McDonald, so they deserve to be favorites imo.
The handicap is only -1. I'd probably put it -3. |  |

Need an outside unbiased opinion Myke what did you think of the ref in that brutal Clare V Dublin match.
2 Clare hurlers sent to hospital with head injuries one savage dangerous tackle( he is better today TG) and another with badly injured ankle done for the year I suspect .
He lost control early with very poor calls IMO and allowed Dublin to lash away which they did .
Need 2 refs for hurling and qualified umpires and linesmen all with radio coms its just too quick for one these days |
Yes ref had a shocker. Lohan barely able to control his emotions afterwards. Hopefully they will make a full recovery.
Re Brian’s comments about Limerick. I agree they were very un-Limerick like up front v Cork especially Gillane but he is just coming back from a serious injury I suppose. However, I feel their half-back line is showing some vulnerability for the first time in years, so perhaps not as invincible as they have been in the past. - Probably still win it though |  | | |

Very well played Mayo. Much better in defence and in the end, midfield, than I gave them credit for. A lot of wides for Cork but Mayo kept the pressure on and forced some difficult point efforts to be taken.

Must be a huge contingent of Mayo people in Watford ? I regularly hear their song requests on Mid-West Radio. Disappointed with Cork yesterday - same old failings in front of goal. Tyrone very unlucky v Kerry. Clifford double-hopped for the goal. If it was anyone else it would have been chalked off. Also another point from a 45 that should never have been a 45 in the 1st place.

I went to Croke Park this afternoon and witnessed an almighty resurrection by Dublin in the last 10 minutes of the match to put another heavily fancied All Ireland challenger to the sword. This is the same team who narrowly beat Wicklow and lost to both Westmeath and Louth a few weeks ago.

Just saw the result no highlight yet Myke but its still a huge surprise Cork have lost 2 finals now this semi final with that group of hurlers minus Patrick Horgan this year.
Clare have always been able to beat Galway in the last 25 years but Limerick are the imovable force for us right now.
Clare need 4 goals ( i can see that happening) but have to keep Limerick out at the other end which nobody can see sadly.
