Scoured latest news on West Ham's football sites and didn't find any mention of Vip. Saw lots of stories on Isidor and Parrott. Sunderland wants £20-25M for him. Parrott is valued at £25-30M by AZ Alkmaar. Parrott deal to West Ham may come to fruition. | | | |

All about the demand for him. If there's 3,4,5 clubs interested, then it's clearly in the first bidders interest to get the deal done and dusted ASAP with a sensible (maybe slightly over) the odds offer.
If interest is lower, which appears to be the case, then it's all about just how much the selling club truly value the player. I personally think he'll go for anything over 20mil, with perhaps the 20 being the cash payments and rest based on performances and sell on. | | | |

Quite right the closer it gets to transfer deadline day the higher his fee becomes.
Teams with a bad start and a lack of goals will often try to keep the fans happy and make last minute signings .
Often paying over the odds.
We've done it enough over the years.

Usually players are disruptive if they are not playing or playing out of position. If he is as good as he thinks he is then he will have to prove it by ensuring the team gets good results.
Defensive midfielder or attacking midfielders good midfielder should be able to do both unless we revert to five across the back two attacking and two defensive midfielders | | | |

How do we know he's disruptive (Almeida)? He may be, or it may be that the manager has decided his face doesn't fit, wants him gone to get budget, and is punishing him because he's not co-operating. Shades of Martin. Is there any other evidence of him being disruptive that I've missed? I may well have done.
Perhaps the guy likes where he's living, doesn't want to be a pawn in someone else's game and considers the manager an onanist who won't last.

It’s a drop down but he’d be a very big fish at this level. Perform at a high level all season then loads of top teams will want him. I don’t think he’d sulk here and ruin any chance of a high wage move (even back to Spain or Portugal) .
He’s being played further forward than he likes so I can gather - CDM is his specialty and it’s what we desperately need. | | | |
