That was one hell of a $hit set of penalties from QPR. Not one of them tried to send the keeper the wrong way or blast it down the middle. All 4 were telegraphed which direction they were heading to. Chair kicked it off with the pathetic run up. I mean, what is the point of that.
If I was Stephan I would be holding a penalty taking session at least once a week, as we never know when they will be asked to take one again if Madsen and Kone are not on the pitch.
As far as I can recall Chair has missed his last 3, against Sunderland in Critchley's last game (0-3), against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup and now this one. | | | |

Given how large their keeper is, hitting them as softly as we did allowed him enough time to move.
What should have happened was giving it a good old wallop bottom or top corner, right where every keeper doesn't want them, be they big or small.

Yes, if they don't do it already, then practising penalties should be part of training ground routines.
There should be clear instructions to the players.
Know what shot suits you best.
Use that shot.
Do not change your mind as you run up.
Do not faff about.
Hit it hard.
