Who’s going this weekend?
I’ve got tickets for Friday and Sunday as I’m hoping to go to Bournemouth away on Saturday.
Friday’s line up looks great. The Coral, Cast, Hard Fi, Richard Ashcroft, The Vaccines, The Royston Club. Obviously the timings don’t all match but as a middle aged women might say, at least I will get my steps in.*

Weather looks shite, and I’d rather watch Saints on Saturday.

Mrs S has pulled rank and got us tickets to go the theatre in London on Saturday afternoon otherwise I’d have gone the game |
London will be chaos saturday, you have spurs, charlton, watford, orient, barnet all at home, plus millwall heading out of waterloo and west ham heading out of euston.
Then you have the notting hill carnival going on in west london as well as all points east festival in victoria park.

Mozart Estate are the support, as they were for that Shack gig last year. I like Lawrence, his biography is a great read and I really like the Felt lp Forever Breathes The Lonely Word
Really like Midlake too, got a few of their lps in my collection

Will be interested in your view of The Black Keys.
I have always really liked their albums, and was really looking forward to seeing them live at Brixton Academy a couple of years ago.
However, I didn't think they were great; the highlight was when Noel Gallagher came on stage and played a couple of tracks with them.
I couldn't get my head round their drummer being front and centre of the stage. Seemed the height of indulgence to me.
Hopefully they have upped their game. | |
