I was going to say a disappointingly passive half with no drive from midfield but an okay defensive performance. Unfortunately, Tymon then got out-muscled and missed a routine long ball. It was a soft pen but poor play in handling a ball over the top. No real threat upfront. One positive is that Just has looked better today. |  | | |

Unfortnately, Matos not learnt anything from Sheff Utd & Wrexham.
We dont have enough flair or creativity to break these types of teams down.
Im afraid huffing and puffing gets you nowhere. It was a soft penalty yes admittedly, but for all Tymons great offensive flair, basic defending is not his strong point. Lincoln have been more than happy to sit back, keep defending in numbers and wait for the usual defensive error, which if they have done their homework, they will know this will come at some point during the game.
Hope im wrong, but can only see more of the same come 2nd half. If theres no imrovement after 10 mins, he needs to make wholesale changes. | | | |
