| Shepherds Bush FC 22:16 - Oct 28 with 1130 views | Boston | While I was over, I had a few pints with an old school mate who follows Wembley FC in Div 1 of the Combined Counties League. They're having a good season, second at the moment, and he was keen to talk about some of the matches, then he mentions a recent fixture v Shepherds Bush. This caught my attention, as of course, we commandeered Loftus Rd from them back when Colin first started following the R's. Apparently, this outfit is a reincarnation, formed in 2021, but I was pleased to hear the name was still being used. Gawd knows where they play though. [Post edited 28 Oct 22:18]

As mentioned above, they're based in Beaconsfield but want to move back closer to home eventually - we know how difficult it is to find space for a ground here! They're also really big on football as a form of rehabilitation and a positive bit of structure for those caught up in the justice system or other challenges in White City and Shepherds Bush, so trying to be a force for good as well as just a football club.

Why can’t they move to the Linford Christie stadium? The council should approve that ok.
