The empty bit on the left? New Stadium?

Own up, how many people thinking about training facilities would think to make the pitches the same size as our match day one.

I still think this could be the site of our new ground. If you build a walk way through to Trumpers Way its a 1 mile walk to Boston manor Tube in one direction and Hanwell Tube station in the other. That would be a shitta if it was though. I dont mind moving a little way from W12 but not to Southall!

I know what you mean... Thing is that we are asking them to spend millions on a huge site in another part of West London when they've got that massive empty area of land at the training complex.

Not buying that White City site and opting instead to stay at Loftus Rd was a huge mistake.

If you thought parking and driving ( to and away from the ground ) was a hard at HQ,if we go there it will be an absolute nightmare.

Can't say I'm happy about a new stadium being so far from W12.

There was a rumour that we were going to buy the Park Club in Acton.

Although would they get planning permission for Casino / cinema / etc? Probably not and who'd want that out there?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have just the one pitch the same size as our own and then one that could changed depending on our next away opponents or at least a generic size for someone who plays on a wider pitch?

You're right, we do tend to struggle on wider pitches.

Also only a mile or so from Brentford, who presumably wouldn't be pleased.

They have a generic size one in front of the 2 LR pitches for use in away weeks.

I'd say the area to the left is green belt land dogs walking etc etc defo not big enough for the new stadium complex , the local area couldn't handle the amount of traffic etc on a match day

Don't forget the prison share option in Wormwood Scrubs. Or moving to the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur.

I'm no archimatect, but I take issue with the fact that the 'New Public Service Entrance' interfaces directly onto an approximately 140m wide sign proclaiming us as 'Ealing Queens Park Rangers'!

Utterly insensitive.

Not really, that will be done in blue and white flowers and will be "sensitively green".

Get in the Tardis - go back to 1964 and extend the lease on the White City to 2014 and we would be spot on.

No forward planning? Or a pitch too far, as Marion Montgomery said.

The Rangers bit loooks pretty good - although obviously the facilities within the building will be crucial too.

the only issue I have is the public parking spaces don't look adequate. i coont know the area well at all, but from the google earth images, it doesn;t look like you cna park on the road - and there only seems to be about 10-15 spaces which wont be enough.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

There are 9 parking bays alone, so I'd expect nearer 50 spaces if not more in the public area.

Parking for the community pitches will have to be sorted. My son plays there on a Sunday morning for Southall Youth. One seven a side game is probably 15 cars. But to be fair most away grounds don't have enough parking.

Also the players will need giant car spaces. Have you seen Cisse's car?

Also there are too many full size pitches and not enough small pitches as the FAs new rules demand. I also think the indoor area is too small. I think the Park club's is much bigger.

You should see the 'Mono mono mono' thread.

It's gone from Balotelli receiving racist abuse to a debate on whether Barcelona's brand of football is boring or not!

I was hoping they might build a small stand alongside one of the pitches so that it could host Reserve and Academy matches. Much better than travelling out to Aldershot for games.
