The rules on betting are clear and the reasoning obvious: people inside the game betting raises the possibility of fixing. That's why the punishment is what it is. Andros deserves any ban and I think he is lucky that it is a time period rather than actual games. Everyone involved in football should know the rules around betting and deserve everything they get.
However I do agree that the other instances you have described have been under punished and that the FA are fcukwits. |  |
