The Martin Rowlands Question 20:30 - Aug 10 with 3511 viewsBazzaInTheLoft

Booing. Right or wrong?

Should be everyone's right in my opinion, wether deserved or not (in Austin's case not) but would say it is never helpful and I'm sure the players who do deserve it ( Boswinga perhaps?) don't really give a fvck, which renders the whole thing pointless.

Never boo your team , slag them off on here , mutter to yourself at the games and sound off on the way home .

In the ground do your job IMO

We really are Drama Park Rangers..... We are talking about a very, very, very small minority who aimed a few frustrated boos at Austin after a woeful (unusually) performance from him. It was audible and cringeworthy but it was hardly pitchforks and clubs

To barrack players is a fans right, venting of frustration balances out rare moments of unbridled joy. People shout all sorts and in the end it all sounds a bit rabble'ish

Who could forget Adels run ins with the W12 faithful when he was refusing to pass to team-mates? That was pure frustration

I'm sure the players don't like or appreciate it but I doubt they lose much sleep when counting their £50k a week salaries.
My personnel view is it can't make you run any faster with 500 people on your back

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

To be totally honest, I was more concerned with the fans singing "Tony Fernandes" in the second half

he has been brilliant for us for 2 seasons deserves to be cut some slack while his future is decided

I personally think that booing your own players makes you and the rest of us look like a right cünt to the opposition.

When they're on the pitch support or stay silent.

That said I would defend any fans right to look like said c-bomb.

I've only done it twice - once at that game. Although I did do it again at the replay at the Crown & Sceptre after come to think about it.

Then was bellowing out "F O Boswinga, you're not wanted here" after his last home game (Newcastle?)

I thought booing Paul Hart at the Bristol City game was in order. Never done it otherwise

Really?

Not even The sainted Jose in his last appearance at home to Newcastle?

But then, it may be that we all cheered rather than booed when Bosingwa was substituted! Not sure how this is any different to booing though!

To be fair I did once shout out "he's behind you" to Barton when he was dithering around in midfield. I thought of Barton as more widow tw anky than villain.
I've booed opposition players but never our own.

Ha, the swearing filter wont let me post widow Twa nky Not sure what the correct spelling is...

The only thing I've ever done is shout "Get him off"
Mind you I used to boot the wall in the front of the lower loft with great force which made me feel better until some bright spark covered it in plastic, then I felt guilty about kicking it, then some bright spark made it the kids area (probably same spark) and as I didn't want to scare the kids AND break the plastic I desisted.

F'kin swore a lot though

Booing is sooooooo uncivilised.A slight hooding of the eyes and the occasional "tsk tsk" is all that is required.
