Christ he can't half spout.

Anyway, in middle all the self-congratulatory "humble" "I can't believe every single championship chairman didn't beat a path to my door last year" delusional Scouse sh*t he called out the training regime* at Burnley being a major factor in their success this year.

*presumably one part of the training was that he wasn't allowed to take free kicks and corners and another part was that he wasn't allowed act like a total kn*b on social media every five minutes.

So actually quite a useful footballer at this level if he's managed properly?

That's correct and says a lot about the way the club has been run recently that Barton showed no respect and completely took the pss out of us

To be fair he's been a headache at every club he's been to apart form Burnley - and there's still time....

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. PG Wodehouse

Dyche is a canny Manager

For that reason I've got a feeling they may bomb Barton out.
I would.
Back in the Premiershit razzmatazz I'm sure he'll revert to type. I'd take him back here as a player if the club can manage him with an iron rod but again, if promoted, bomb him out

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

He always seemed to think he was bigger than the club so we'd be mad to take him back

On the evidence of that particular interview/monologue he now thinks he's bigger than every single club in the Championship this season other than Burnley who were the only club to have the wisdom of seeing what St Joseph had to offer the world.

Ironically I actually started this thread because the interesting part of the interview was genuinely about Burnley's training and fitness regime and what that meant over the season.

But Saint Joseph ended up winding me up with his bollx as usual and I ended writing something else entirely

It's the premier league seasons he goes missing when the going gets tough Barton will be blaming everything from the chairman underspending to the training ground to the manager the fans Burnley won't be out of the bottom 3 past November

Agree, I think Dyche will bomb him out next season having now had experience of the Prem and what's needed.

Joey will spend the next 2/3 years as the midfield equivalent of Warnock, helping people get back up. A return to Newcastle might be a good bet
