We will remember them 14:40 - Jul 9 with 1941 viewsozranger

Nice gesture by the club for our first competitive game to get us to remember the fans who have been taken by the virus. As someone who sits amongst a number of fans who are in their 60s, 70s and 80s, I fear that some may no longer be with us.
May we remember them.

Yes,definitely a good idea from the club, but I wonder if we’ll have a proper minutes silence or the modern applause?I hope it’s the former myself, but whatever they choose it will be an emotional moment.

may be a good idea also to have a roll of remembrance page in the programme for that game.

Lovely.

Another class act from the club think it will be an emotional but fitting way of remembering those sadly lost

I'm sorry to say that I can't remember the name of our poet who sadly died of Covid, but I do recall that KitKev, an occasional poster on this board, is a Millwall fan & his father.

It will be very fitting that Kev will be present when we pay tribute to his son & all the rest of our fallen.

We will have to make sure we have left the pub in time for this tribute.

Dean McKee,
We remember ye,
You came off worse,
to this global curse,

A shame you're gone,
Coz we're on song,
QPR y'see,
The team for you and me.
