I thought he was going to be a heaven sent blend of Patrick Viera and Roy Keane when he arrived. He DID have some shortcomings but I liked him. I wish he had worked out for us as he had a personality and character.

Wasn’t there a lot of rumours that he was also a diabetic and struggled with his insulin levels , always carrying a bag of jelly baby’s with him where ever he went .
Oh wow. Samba Diakite memories fantastic, thanks Clive. But the 1966/67 4-1 was my first game at Loftus Road. Which is why I still keep coming back, I suppose.
