Fans do matter as when all is said and done the fans are the soul of the club.
Owners across football clubs are custodians but I feel our owners do care about us, Ruben’s children are fans now. We are all QPR at the end of the day.
I work on the assumption that all boards of all football clubs care about the fans only to the extent that they can keep them a) not mutinous and b) spending money. I don't see anything different here.
2. They are generally very successful in business. People like that, get off on winning, so they want us to be winners.
3. The ones that are very visible ie Fernandes, Briatore want to make all the decisions and they are not football people, and the two mentioned were very hands on. Too much so.
4. This group of owners seem very much in the background. I do find that strange but perhaps being football owners, gives them kudos in their business dealings.
5. Without their money, we would not have existed after the fines we received and whatever anyone thinks about our performances etc over last decade or so, we have managed to stay as a championship club and although we have rarely been involved in a chance to get promoted, that is a decent base to work from and that is something to be thankful for also.

I agree that the owners care about the club and to some extent, the fans, but I don’t think Nourry does.
He is more interested in keeping us in the dark as long as we pay our money to support the club. The lack of information re players fees, contract lengths and more importantly, their fitness and availability status, is really poor.

I think we are very lucky to have the owners we do. They continually put in millions of their own money to keep the lights on and if it wasn't for FFP/PSR they would put in even more. Ruben, Amit and their families are also massive fans just like us. So yes I think they care about us very much.
Of course they want us to be successful and I hope we have now turned the ship and are starting to head in the right direction. They prefer to stay in the background and allow Christian and Lee to run the day to day operations and after Flavio and Tony perhaps that is no bad thing.
Without the board we would have become extinct. They've kept us away from being another Sheffield Wednesday or Macclesfield etc. Have they made mistakes? Loads of them but we're still here and they are still supporting the club financially. So by this, yes, of course they care about the fans. We wouldn't have a football club to support if they didn't.
