Probably a controversial opinion but I would sell Burrell he gives me Patrick Agyemang vibes and we could get a decent fee for him whilst his stock is relatively high
Would also look to sell JCS or Morrison and Madsen again whilst his stock is high
Reinvest the money for a GK ,two full backs and 2 CM and look to play 4231 or 433 [Post edited 29 May 20:36]

Probably a controversial opinion but I would sell Burrell he gives me Patrick Agyemang vibes and we could get a decent fee for him whilst his stock is relatively high
Would also look to sell JCS or Morrison and Madsen again whilst his stock is high
Reinvest the money for a GK ,two full backs and 2 CM and look to play 4231 or 433 [Post edited 29 May 20:36]

I'm not sure we have got too many sellable assets and those that we have got, I don't want to see sold. However ....
Players that I think we will try get what we can for: Santos, Celar, Field, Alfie Lloyd
Players that I think we will try to loan out: Murphy Cooper, Tim Akendilini, Dillon
Players that I think will be added to the 1st team squad: Pearman, Sutton, Adamson, Smith, Isak

I would consider this unlikely. He is 28, coming off the back of two injury interrupted seasons. Also a fully fit Chair is vital to us with his link up play and enormous work ethic. Finally, we are bleeding Championship nous and Chair has it in spades . Interestingly he is often overlooked in that regard. Even Clive when talking about experienced players in his defenders review, cited Smyth as the only ‘elder lemon’ in the squad besides Dunne. Even though there are only a couple of months between Chair and Smyth and Chair has been around far longer. | | | |

I think if you want to be a profitable club and sell your key assets then we will need to look at selling him. Well that's what I meant. Anyway. I do think that if he would have been injury free for the past couple of years he would have gone by now, along with not having the foreign misdemeanour!
Please don't misunderstand me wanting him to be sold for having to sell him as a necessity because it aligns to the corporate structure! | |

You could be right with both Madsen and Burrell.
Of the two, I would more likely be leaning towards a sale of Burrell,if we thought it was a good deal. I think Madsen is so key to this team, selling him and replacing him for a player on less money is very unlikely to be found.
It was rumoured we were offered £6 million for Varane last season. Currently, we are not getting half that, so do get your point. [Post edited 31 May 7:30]

we need to concentrate all our efforts on making the current squad better. there aren’t enough of them that could be sold. moreover we aren’t very good at recruitment so bringing new players may well back fire. |  |

In response to the OP there are an awful lot of IFs to be resolved.
IF we are looking for another keeper, where does that leave Walsh. At 24,is he going to settle for being #2 for the rest of his career. If it was me, I'd be looking to get out as quickly as possible.
IF we are looking for an LB and Larkeche is fit, then sending Esquerdinha on loan makes sense.
IF Morrison goes we may need a backup for Dunne, Edwards, JCS, then Smith has to be kept in house.
Isak on loan, to L1/L2 makes sense.
IF we can find takers for Dixon-Bonner, Santos, Celar or Lloyd we should take whatever we can get.
IF we can move Adamson on, then we will need a 2nd choice(?) RB.
IF the rumoured interest from Saint-Etienne last Summer, had any credence they might come back. Although the 5m€ was unlikely then, it 's probably a lot more than we'd get now.
IF Saito and/or Dembele can get in the starting XI next season, ahead of Smyth, Poku, Vale, Chair then they will stay. Otherwise we should be open to offers.
IF Norwich turn the loan into a permanent deal for Field he will be sold. IF not them, we'll listen to offers from other Championship clubs.
To those you can add Akindeleni, who needs a League loan not bottom of the National League; Sutton, who needs to play at a better level than relegated Harrogate and, quite likely Pearman
