I am normally in the "we should try and win every game, don't rest them" camp. But considering the fitness/suitability of the majority of our players I wouldn't be upset to see a third string side of fans and toddlers sent out for this one.
And that is from someone whom is going.
Sexy Asian dwarves wanted.

I don't understand why they don't make home Cup games in the early rounds big loyalty point games. It would cost them nothing, build up the attendance and get a better atmosphere. And make a few extra quid. Of course, getting – I dunno – 20 bonus loyalty points isn't going to bring in 10,000 people. But it might actually get a few more people down.

Starting this preview in the style of Italo Calvino's If on a Winter's Night a Traveler is brilliant. You could, in fact, write a whole season ahead of time like this. Fifty or sixty thousand words about a disjointed, incomprehensible season in which a fan tries desperately to glean some meaning from an increasingly bizarre series of journeys. If on a Midweek Evening in the North, an Rs Fan. Sorted. All written by mid-September.
‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

But they kind of do, it's 10 points for tonight which isn't bad when Southampton for example is 3.

Damn you, let me expunge Watford.
"Watford picked much the same team that had humbled us 4-0 at Vicarage Road but nevertheless went out on penalties to Stevenage which rather puts our performance into perspective"

Fear is no excuse to field a weakened side for any game. I expect no unenforced changes, as I always do, but won't be in the least bit surprised if Gareth takes the coward's way out.
