Well now that brought us back down to earth with a thud despite being another excellent article Clive but completly true of course.

We had to start somewhere, our 1st win at home was never going to be anything but a finger nail biting experience. So Reggie and JCS have to start, hard on Ozzie but fact is Reggie is a better player. Wondering about Colback as he was really blowing Wednesday but bar Fox hopefully a full squad and decisions to be made. Chrissy obviously starting, so wondering if Smyth on the bench which removes the pace. Confidence is such a thing in professional sport but we must have more. You know, part of me wouldn’t have minded if the season had ended on Tuesday. 2nd bottom and relegated but everyone on a high. Players off to Zanti. New DOF announced. Marti gets a small war-chest to do a rebuild and get us promoted.
Instead we’ve got 2/3rds of the season to go and it’s cold and we’re away to fcking Preston and we always lose 1-0 to fcking Preston. I just don’t know what we’re going to look like by the end of all this.
Anyway I predicted that we’d lose to Stoke and I was wrong. I also think we’ll lose to Preston and hopefully wrong again but I very much doubt we’ll win this one. So I’m going for a draw 1-1 with Chair to score. |  | | |
