Interesting to read some of the Stoke socials that we came with a game plan to frustrate, not to lose and were physical (injured Stoke lad excepted). To be honest if that means we grind out points and don't get turned over as a lightweight team, I'm all for that, for far too long we have rolled over at away games, it could be a new turning point.

Any team that has Ben Pearson in it and accuses us of this I cannot take seriously. I see their manager was having a go at Dunne for the foul that left their forward with a broken leg. The foul wasn’t intentional as far as I could see, but he didn’t mention the follow through by Thomas on Dembele which certainly looked intentional and where Dembele was lucky to avoid serious injury.

Agree with this, still room for improvement in the attacking part of our game, I do get frustrated with how he plays the wingers but I'm happy with that point and overall performance, the back five were excellent and it's good to see Dunne and Cook forming such a strong partnership now.
Note, quite a few fans thought we'd lose today, refer back to the match preview by Northern himself, so a solid point really.

People talk a lot about consistency. I think Stephan's point about being able to repeat a solid defensive display away from home after west ham demonstrating an improvement in that respect is a fair one.
