| So what are we going to do about it? 18:35 - Mar 9 with 1401 views | DejR_vu | People rightly angry, but as a fanbase we've collectively accepted this for way too long. We're limited in what we can do, but we're not entirely powerless. What are people prepared to do to try and bring about change? - don't renew season tickets? - for the occasionals, boycott games (no one would be missing much)? - boycott merchandise? - don't buy food and drink in the stadium? - make the club / owners aware that's what's happening until the changes that need to be made are made? It'll hit the club in the pocket short-term but not as much as relegation or the seemingly inevitable result of the (non) development model. Might achieve nothing, but might shock a club so used to taking a passive and compliant fanbase for granted into waking up. So, what are people prepared to do? | |

Fair enough if we were marooned at the bottom of the table but we’re not. The injury and fitness situations need to be properly addressed at the end of the season and the fanbase need to be kept fully informed on what actions are being taken to prevent a third decimated season in a row. That would be a great start to keeping the supporters onside.

You are not going to be fully informed on anything with the current regime. They aren't going to change, they are going to double down if anything.

Whereas you are fully informed on everything? And double down on what exactly? The injuries and lack of fitness? You always reappear during the lowest moments: certainly not a regular poster after a few decent wins.

They are low on confidence and need support. Our gaffer also needs our backing. We need to support the team to get over the line this season. At the end we can challenge the powers that be but until then, back the team so they get out of this cycle.

Nourry has his PR machine in overdrive at the moment. He conveniently ‘answered’ the prepared questions just a few days before the accounts came out. There’s no point believing any of the the injury updates. For example we were told Chair would be back in training in January. Now mid-March and he’s still no where to be seen. We sell Frey in January which I can understand with Burrell out injured to be replaced by a guy who literally gets injured in his first training session. We have literally played half a season with one out and out striker. Make it make sense. Do we not do our homework when we sign players about their fitness / ability to play week in week out at this level? Our due diligence is appalling. We have signed about 8 players from various parts of the world. None of them are ready for the intensity of the Championship. I genuinely think all of them will not have a successful career at this level or better. We have shopped in the bargain basement and we are now seeing Nourry’s signings are so poor. The guy has been unable to build a squad with depth at this level. You need a balance at this level of experience and quality. Field has been bombed out. Cook has been dropped…not sure why. Chair has vanished. Everyone left is essentially a kid. This is all down to Belk, Nourry and his best mate cycling Ben.

I speak to people on here in person mostly and go to the meetings with CN, where he sits and lies to us. But mostly I do it just to get downvoted by you. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

He’s a ST holder who goes home and away. Missed something like only 3 or 4 games last season. He also represented a fans group in the “behind closed door” sessions with Nourry. He may not be a regular poster, but he’s a proper supporter who is far more aware of what is really going on than you are, Ned, as hard as that is for you to stomach. Dismiss what he says all you want. Won’t make you right.

I’m setting up a crowd-funding page to buy a Raleigh Chopper which I will ride naked across the pitch during the next home game in a ‘SAVE OUR HAMSTRINGS - BMX BEN OUT !’ protest [Post edited 9 Mar 23:20]

| So what are we going to do about it? on 23:36 - Mar 9 with 209 views | Watford_Ranger | I’m sad but, as one of the probably few too young to remember the Prem 90s glory days let alone 75/76, not a lot sadder than through much of my QPR existence. My mate’s kid is 15/16, loves it and he’s only ever known the club being a mess off the pitch to some extent and being 16th in the second division on it. Feel sorry for the yoof. Not even a glorious third division second place and Hammersmith celebrations or an Andy Impey dancing on the pitch at Watford. I’ll renew partly because I really like the spot I have and would struggle to get one near it again and partly through blind hope it’ll improve. All for not spending on the club beyond that but I don’t much anyway. Probably have loads of ‘QPR Cash’ somewhere. It’s grim. It’ll probably get grimmer this week, next week and next season. But it’ll be better one day or at least it’ll get worse then improve to the point we’re at now so it’ll feel better. Saying that I’m fascinated to see what sort of prices they concoct for renewals. You look at the Birmingham game, that's going to be another trouncing. Another day or so of social media outrage. Lose at Leicester too (very possible) and I can't see Stephan keeping his job. Nourry clearly won't want to get rid of him as he's his man but he will cut him loose to save himself. I still keep looking at Millwall away and a 5-0 thrashing. That could be the Enola Gay moment. | | | |

The likes of you and him think your gatekeeping really makes you ‘proper supporters’ compared to us Normies. Your ‘pronouncements’ always increase during a bad run on the pitch. Most of us can think for ourselves and form our own opinions thanks 👍
