I always preferred the “Golden Goal” idea. First to score in extra time decided the tie. |
| Forum Reply | Three is the cursed number as QPR fall in a hole at Hull - Report at 19:10 15 Apr 2024
No complaints from me about effort and commitment, we were outplayed and comprehensively beaten by a much better team. Find it odd that Hull have struggled so much at home recently. Very much looked like a dads v lads game to me. We need to put that one behind us and focus on Preston. Great report by the way. |

Can’t say I entirely agree. Willock imo was our best player and the most likely to score. Anderson looked completely lost and was rightly hooked at half time. Chair was ok, got some crosses in, no one there as usual. Agree that as a three behind the striker, it is just not working and Marti would be foolish to stick with it against what will be a season defining game next week. Dykes crosses were………….interesting to say the least. |
| Forum Reply | We Just Dont Get Enough From Our Strikers at 14:28 13 Apr 2024
Dykes is pony, defending his contribution, or lack thereof, is delusional. Seny Dieng has scored as many away goals as Dykes across the last two seasons. How much evidence is needed? |
| Forum Reply | Goals - Hitting Targets at 09:33 13 Apr 2024
Agree. There’s a perception on here that if we sling more crosses in Dykes et al will get on the end of them. Complete baloney. Time to ditch the target man nonsense and get a striker in that will complement the 3 technical midfielders behind him and is adept at finding the net working in tight spaces. Another lump up front is not what is needed. |
| Forum Reply | Being linked to Kemar Roofe at 09:18 13 Apr 2024
I bet he’d score more than Dykes if he only played 14 times in the next two years. We shouldn’t be touching this type of signing with a barge pole however. |

In simple terms, our defence have been exceptional ( rag hands excluded of course) and our forwards utterly useless. That Dykes stat on twitter is embarrassing, for him and for us. What club is likely to pay anything for a striker that contributes so little. Unless we pay off his contract in the summer, we are stuck with an expensive bench warmer for next season. Can’t see us winning this one. They have goals in abundance from all over the pitch. We can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo, unless one of our defenders bails us out…..again. Philogene will tear Fox a new one if he plays at left back today. |

In fairness, he had a slightly better game than he normally does. He even looked like he was trying at one point. Hardly outstanding though. Plenty of crosses into the box that he failed to attack or anticipate. Par for the course. |
| Forum Reply | Armstrong New Contract ? at 23:23 8 Apr 2024
Easy, don’t play any of them. The stats show they are highly unlikely to score, so go for a false 9 type approach. Hodge is far better on the ball than any of our strikers and should be able to link better with our 3 attacking midfielders and potentially create more goal scoring opportunities. Constant movement and rotation of those 4 just might give us an added dimension. Or it might not work at all.Trying something has to be better than accepting the inevitable incompetence of our very limited 3 strikers and effectively playing with 10 men. |
| Forum Reply | Armstrong New Contract ? at 16:44 7 Apr 2024
Dykes our highest paid player 😳 unbelievable. That shit needs sorting in the summer. Utter nonsense. |
| Forum Reply | Armstrong New Contract ? at 16:40 7 Apr 2024
Along with Dykes….no coach in the world will get a tune out of either of them as they are simply not footballers of any real calibre. |

Not at all convinced with Chair, Willock, Anderson set up behind the striker. Anderson has provided more threat from the right wing, but looks totally lost down the middle. Willock and Chair struggled today up against pacy, physical full backs, but both absolutely need to find their mojos in the final games. It was one of those games where pretty much everyone with the usual exception of the defensive line, had piss poor games. It has happened before and will happen again. Just need to get over the line and clear the dex in the summer. |
