Some of the best goalkeeping from a saints player for years, some were pure magical to watch, saves with all parts of his body the way it should be.Everyone played a part today was so refreshing to see everyone pulling together, Lemina and Romeu were top class this week. Tadic finally put it all together and was a class apart. Were still in with a shot of staying up if we can keep this up Coyr.

Much needed performance and result. I feel more confident now, especially when you look at Huddersfield's remaining fixtures

Very promising afternoon in W12. Was this the youngest ever QPR side? Not overawed, although to be fair Birmingham were poor. I was especially impressed with Ilias Chair, who in his previous Loftus Rd outing did ok, but today his work rate, pressing and skill were at a much higher level. Combined with Eze's touch and ability to be half a step ahead of opponents, Freeman's skillful buzzing around the opposition's defence and Scowen protecting the back four we looked well-balanced and threatening.

And well done to Lumley, who apart from one fumble that he got away with, looked comfortable, more so than Matt Ingram in the last couple of games. Honourable mentions to Furlong and Bidwell who did well as centre-halves.

Great to see the warm applause for Jamie and the Chief. Well-deserved for both. Tony Fernandes' tweet about changes sounded ominous, but there's a lot to build on.

Phew!!! That last 20 minutes has caused me to double the dose on my blood pressure tablets. Nail biting to say the least. So many times this season it's been like that only for the defence to finally give up a goal, usually scored by Giroud! Not this time. Yes there were times when we were screaming for a forward pass but once again, there was no one there. But forget the critical analysis for once. Everyone put in a major shift today. Tadic was a master and exhausted by the time he went off. Lemina gave flashes to remind us how good we all thought he was at the beginning of the season before he went into some weird shell. The back three were mostly steady but did get caught for pace on several occasions. And McCarthy was immense. Two unbelievable saves - one with his foot at almost point blank range and the deflected effort at the end is save of the season. So a great effort from everyone, including the crowd. By far the best atmosphere of the season, especially at the final whistle. But here's a question... with five minutes left and the game as tense as it was with so much at stake, how the hell can people leave? I don't care if you're parked in front of someone or have to get a bus - get the next one. Okay, if we're losing and out of it, go if you must, but in a situation like today, decent fans (and most did) stay and cheer the lads on. COYS

Well done Tadic & Lemina especially, just hope its not too little too late. Scraping a win against Bournemouth at home does say rather a lot about where we are now as opposed to where we used to be a couple of years ago.

Amazing what a bit of adversity brings out in people, just a pity that’s what it takes to get the team and fans on board. Tadic , Macarthy, Romeu and Lamina all had great games. But i was impressed with Bednarek for someone young and very little experience of the premier league has come into the team and gone about his business. All to play for then Saints, hopefully not a flash in the pan. UTS.

Couldn't agree more about fans leaving early - I was amazed - is there only one bus back to some places? McCarthy gave the best Saints goalkeeping performance since Kelvin's away display at Leeds. That save at the end was nothing short of world-class and I seriously hope he's signed up for next season. Lemina showed what he can do and I can only think his health or his head haven't been right for most of his time with us. There are some downsides - Hoedt doesn't look good enough to me and neither is Redmond. I also think that he and Bertrand don't want to or can't play with each other. Bednarek shows promise but lacks pace and Tadic once again showed what a good player he can be if some of his teammates are performing. Romeu was also effective similar to last season but there were still too many misunderstandings and wayward passes. I'm not sure that Swansea will be relegated and we might be wishing that they beat Stoke to help us. Three points might well keep us up at Huddersfield's expense.

The performances of the newcomers bodes well for the future. Chair's performance was excellent. Demanded the ball used it well and topped it off with a goal. Eze's time and confidence on the ball gives me real hope for the next season. He can see and execute defense splitting passes. O Samuel is strong on the ball, powerful and will develop into an effective striker. Perhaps Brum were poor but our youngsters looks the business

Great to be able to celebrate a win, of course. But most of all, the display of spirit by most of the team gives some hope. Every week McCarthy makes it look more and more absurd that FF stayed in the side so long. He was the difference. If you get that kind of goalkeeping, and then Tadic, Lemina playing well, things tend to go right. In defence, Bednarek so far looks superior to Hoedt who has been awful for a while now...two weeks in a row he essentially gave up goals by ducking when a cross came in! Anyhow, good for now!

A bit more like the old Saints with players trying. Lemina was my man of the match pity he didn’t preform like this earlier. Just a pity we took so long to get rid of Mope. Same players but putting in more efforts but did we leave it to late.
