The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2579913 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Just listened to Jodys progressive house mix which he kindly sent me.

Great tracklist mate;

Paragliders- Change me (Force mass motion infinity mix)
Velvet Girl - Walking on Sunshine (Phillipe Van Mullen mix)
Miro- Paradise (Red Jerrys longdubby vocal mix)
Underworld - Dark&Long (Dark Train)
General Midi - Automatic
Bluefish - One
Trancestters - Roaches (Peace Division mix)
Evolution - Crocodile Man
Killerhurtz- West on 27th (A Tribe called KHz mix)
Science Dept. - Repercussion
Starecase - Navigator
Life On Mars - Life In Minds
Alchemy - Bruiser(Evolution mix)
Medway - Flanker
Critical Phase - Phase One (Futureshock mix)
Hedonix - Sunstorm
Transa - Evernate

Jody, i Bought the Transa 'Enervate' about 3 seconds After hearing it for the first time on Sasha and Diggers 'Northen Exposure 2'. my copy was released on the Mighty Hook Recodings label. The Hedonix Track i bought on a written review from Pezz in 3beat Records printed in 'Muzik' Magazine.I didn't need to hear it... the Cyrus 'Can you dig it' 'Warrior's sample was enough for me.

Some good tracks selected From Oakeys Global Underground New York CD As well on here Jody Mate. Urssssss!

As for the Evolution track 'Crocodile Man'... And Lo, God gave unto us Prog, cast from his 4th Rib and he saw that it was good. Fu cking Good.

Not 'Arf Mate. Oaky's 007 New York is fantastical.

I've got Global 003 to 024 on cd. They go for a few quid on Discogs.

Oaky's 004 Oslo, Diggers HOng Kong, Sasha's San fransisco and Nick Warrens Amsterdam are my other Fav's.

Classic Prog on Warrens 'Reykjavik' .Electronic Music. Magic.

Nice one Glenn mate. Thanks for your Prog friendly ears.. :)

That Hedonix track was lifted straight off the frankie thread..lol

Just a little fact that would have Stu shouting "Nerd" at me but General Midi was one half of Starecase . :)

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

Can't get this tune out of my head.
Was huge for me and used to love playing it on the silver vinyl..... I actually woke up yesterday morning and it was a prominent part of a dream I was having.

This is possibly a triple Schofield from me

This is a great tune - vocal's remind me of another tune which I can't place... late 80's with a bit of Brooker Newberry Love Town

Three random dips from the shelves and then I'm doing a bit of work

DIP ONE

Not sure if I've "dipped" this one before? Tribal Records - great label

DIP TWO

This one came out with dip one so I thought why not. Thought it was going to be Ann Consuelo "See the day" when I saw the label but it was this little nugget

BIGBEAT Label... love it

DIP THREE

Mmmmmmmmm......
Could call it a bit trancey, a bit progressive but got a bit euro poppy for me after a few listens
Not the best one to end on but there you go.

Best do a couple of hours
