I have not posted in months so shame on me. Got to get my dance groove back on as going to Hacienda 40 in a couple of weeks.
takes me back to going round Afflecks Palace in the late 80s looking for a new Saturday night shirt
video includes paddy considine (from one of my favourite films dead mans shoes) and some class northern soul dancing in the video,
love this tune

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Mmmmmmmmmmmm
Never a fan of political music myself -- it should be a thing of joy to my mind but each to their own.
Something like this... message but got a lift (Thanks to Mark James on RFM this morning for reviving this one for me)
It just came up as a suggestion on YouTube and although I hesitated to post it because the lyrics seem political - I haven't seen the lyrics in full, actually - I decided to go ahead because it is a terrific tune

I took it as anti politics and social media know it alls. I maybe have misread or misheard the message. ? It did kinda evoke my attitude towards the realm of political internet show ponies. But theres a time and place for all that and nows not the time and the Frankie fred is not the place.. lol Time to rok da riddim

Point taken.
Probably my most favourite political tune is Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes - Wake Up. Teddy Pendergrass vocal superb and the lyrics are 100% a message
Immense
