The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 17:29 - Oct 12 by W13R
Heard these two classics the other day.
forgot all about that Soul Family track; reminds me of Innocence; very similar production style; had the Caron Wheeler album. Not quite at SoulIISoul level but pretty solid

Guess what? Yep.... time for another three at random from my burgeoning stack of vinyl. I have promised myself that once we go into another lockdown I'm going to have a proper sort out, most of my good stuff in my LP90 boxes in another room.
First up.... what's all this then? A triple pack EP no less but all mixes of same track
Like it.
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

YES! I used to love this album. I whipped down and chose where the finger stopped and it was this one. I was a failed B-Boi but could do a few mean break dancin moves. Great film this.

This was a seminal and sesmic album for me. Rockit is too easy a choice so went for this one.... 1983 by the way (and it says "this album is also available on cassette!!!). In absolutely mint condition this.
So there you have it. Three genres out of a stack of shelves at random -- must library up my vinyl!!!
