Calvin on 15:45 - Nov 4 with 3530 views | boromat | A 12 match ban is pretty incredible and nearly unheard of I can't imagine Calvin doing anything to warrant that amount of punishment.
| |
Calvin on 15:46 - Nov 4 with 3499 views | boromat | Also if it was that bad they should be coming out with telling people and using the 12 match ban as a sign that whatever it is is unacceptable and warrants such a penalty.

Calvin on 15:49 - Nov 4 with 3450 views | judd | If he has bitten him then he must have bit his cock or summat. What will Ibrahimovic get for last night's assault?

Calvin on 16:08 - Nov 4 with 3157 views | fitzochris | There needs to be full and detailed statement from the club as to what has transpired here. A 12-game ban is more than significant and I can't imagine anyone involved at our end is embracing this news gladly.

Calvin on 16:08 - Nov 4 with 3157 views | DannyG_RAFC | What the hell has this gentleman done do by denied doing his job for 12 games, I'm shocked, absolute downright corruptness by the FA yet again.
Calvin on 16:10 - Nov 4 with 3137 views | isitme | Surely it should be mentioned what he has been banned for, even to just act as a warning for other players?
Calvin on 16:11 - Nov 4 with 3109 views | Yorkshire_Dale | Gobsmacked!...........Of all players Calvin Andrew? But, truly bad PR for the Club and presume there will be a hefty fine? Just when he was coming really good too........

Agreed. Hopefully the video evidence as well so that we can see for ourselves. Can anyone in the Sandy remember where the physio was treating Clarke? Was it his face? [Post edited 4 Nov 2016 16:15]

Isn't it better to wait until the nature of the charge is brought forward before alleging corruption? Yes, I'm shocked. Calvin just doesn't come across as an aggressive or vindictive type, and he must've been severely provoked - but that's no excuse at all, whatever it was. What a shame, he was in the form of his life and he'll be sorely missed.

I assume you know what he's done wrong? Oh no of course you dont? Are you related to tazzy? You have no idea what he's done so how can you accuse the FA of being corrupt. I can see your argument though, its plain to the naked eye that the FA would have it in for the giant that is rochdale football club. Get back to after school club.

Twelve games for an elbow? Ridiculously inconsistent if so. It would need to be an eye gouge or something, surely? Only something that's banned in UFC could warrant a 12-game ban.
| |
Calvin on 16:21 - Nov 4 with 2902 views | Daley_Lama | According to The Guardian, the only longer ban was that given to Eric Cantona. Joey Barton got a 12 match ban for two acts of violence, so 6 per act. Must have been very naughty indeed. Elbows have bern seen before with lesser punishments.

I've heard he was driving a pretend car and accidentally nudged Clarke off his imaginary bicycle before embarking on a break dance routine. Nasty get.

There's elbows and... elbows An elbow when both players are jumping for ball and trying to gain leverage off the ground, even if sneakily intentional, is one thing. If it's off-the-ball and a direct premeditated strike, that's another. But we'll see.
