Pyke is absolutely awful, just missed a sitter and is so ineffective and he cant be arsed. Ive had enough of him now. Rather watch a youth product who actually tries.

He doesn’t play them because of the 5 of them, one is good enough as a squad player, the next two are terrible and just making up places on the bench, and the next two are young prospects who aren’t ready yet.
Sounds like we were better in the second half but still, against a side who’ve only scored 4 home goals after half a season, that’s a terrible result. Board, you know what you need to do. |  | | |

Such a shame for Pyke he has the physique to be the perfect striker but just does not have the edge in his game to succeed.

Have to admit that went through my mind when I saw the team sheet. I think the lad is an outstanding talent, there are few sweeter strikers of a football at this level and his ability to pick out passes is a joy to watch. Still learning but well worth a place in the side if fit...... |  | | |

Just back ( via the pub). Odd game. Scored after 1 minute and then got completely battered for 43 minutes and probably lucky to be only 2-1 down. Then in the last minute of the first half put together a great move that should have led to a goal
2nd half we were a completely different team. Hit the post, Hit the bar and Pyke should have scored from a perfect cross from RND. They didn't deserve to score but that is the way it goes sometimes, with Sanchez almost saving it.
We may have found a real gold nugget in Baah. Gets involved, full of confidence and no little skill. Hopefully will progress in the next couple of seasons, but worth quite a few minutes at the moment as we are short of bodies. |  | | |

Just from the iFollow commentary it sounded like we had a good game away at a decent team. First half we got ahead but then fell away but second half it sounded like we really threatened which we can't say we have done recently. I'll stay positive and say it's an improvement on recent performances regardless of missing Hendo and Morley.
Looking forward now to getting them back now and pushing on further in the next game. | |
