Storm Jorge due to spoil the game tomorrow. I dunno, I remember when storms had proper names like Storm Alf or Storm Eric. I walked through Richmond Park this morning. Beverley Brook has burst its banks. Shocking damage.

I blame the weather
Changeable and always will be.

True, flooding is bad but then building homes on flood planes never was a good idea

Yes absolutely the weather is and always will be changeable but we are changing our climate. Higher average temperatures mean more energy in the atmosphere and, consequently, more powerful storms.

In the 20th century we in the UK used to have major floods on average every 15-20 years. Between 2000-2010, it was down to every 2-5 years. Grim news.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

On my way to the game. There's a hailstorm at Edgware Road.

I walked from Oxford Circus again and it was almost like a spring day.The quick hailstorm just before ht reminded me it was still winter.
