I didnt get to start playing it until 8.15 or so, but was pleased to see I could watch it from the start instead of missing the first half hour.
So many of these players were so, so, so, SO SO SO crap for us its unreal.
I mean just coming down the startling line up...
Paddy Kenny - great in the Champ, and in the Prem for me that one year he had, unfairly and farcically treated
Luke Young - utter turd
Anton Ferdinand - utter turd
Nedum Onuoha - Couldn't really cut it in the top flight, but I did like him for the most part. Even if he was subject to the odd ricket. Chieeeef!
Armand Traore - utter turd
Joey Barton - Could. Not. Stand. Him. Utter turd for that reason alone, mostly crap, especially in the top flight, his perceived ability of himself was way, way, way in excess of actual ability.
Shaun Derry -
Samba Diakite - For a few games I thought we had the next Patrick Vieira. That didn't last long.
Adel Taarabt -
Djibril Cisse - this was in that 6 month spell where he either scored, or got sent off. Thought he'd score loads of goals for us the following season. That never really happened...
Bobby Zamora - apart from one glorious moment at Wembley, was generally a very expensive donkey. But he did give us that one glorious moment eventually.
Manager - Urgh. Not even going to name him. Utter utter utter turd.
And they've just highlighted Daniel Craig in the crowd.

Look at it another way, it's 75 minutes of Joey Barton showing himself up, and then getting booed off, and then 15 minutes of qpr beating liverpool from 2-0 down.
Sounds alright to me.
Fku@ me I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed that night. firstly inviting a Pool supprting mate along, then going to the C&S after (he fked off oddly enough) , watching the whole game over again, singing all the same chants again & booing off Barton. Again.
Thanks for putting this up. Watched it as live but paused to refill drinks etc.
My how much more we could appreciate the good play that still happens, even when playing a team that might overrun you, when the stress of being desperate for points is not there.
We did play well at times, we rode our luck, we stayed in the game, we showed belief and character and deserved something at the end. We were relegated with 15 minutes to go and we turned it around and still went on a great home run and survived.
Thanks Clive, I had forgotten everything about it apart from our three goals. I enjoyed it immensely and re-reading your match report as well. What a player Diakite was during that run. What a shame the recruitment was so ott and the players like Adel, Cisse and Diakite lost their way. It could and should have been different.
btw where's Neilsl these days?
