however it is viewed our club was run back then, it was a superb touch putting a Rangers flag on every seat. That half of the stadium looked magnificent.

True.
Imagine how much better it would have been without that abomination of a badge though.

The watching party was surprisingly excellent and informative.
Thoughts (Spoliers) :
1) Barton getting Steve Black in was the key to promotion. I have no respect for Barton, but this confirms it. Redknapp hardly gets a mention. Black gets all the praise 2) Redknapp's comments to Zamorra coming on - Jesus! 3) It seems that Zamorra told Barton to "take one with him" at Man. City in 2012 4) Hill the coach among the group, really interested in the game 5) Green also impressive 6) Austin is more likeable than I thought, but maybe a bit childish 7) Zamorra seems a nice fella 8) Zamorra, Austin and Green both made references to how bad the dressing room was prior to Black's arrival, Zamorra mentioned that there was quite a few cliques, Austin spoke about Traore not caring when we lost and Green mentioned that lads drifted away when the professionalism was ramped up. 9) Wally Downes' comment in the lift to Steve McClaren!!!

They never thought they were going to lose even after the sending off, in a way it helped them defend better and Derby run out of ideas
A lot of praise for Green, Danny Simpson and the rest of the back 4 from CA and Bobby
Edit Bobby saying the should have pissed winning the League.

Love this vid from down under too...
Yes I was there in the Turf Bar in Melbourne with 125 QPR fans, only 1 or 2 Derby and I think an Everton fan. Someone was throwing pints over the fans in celebration. It was an amazing night - last to leave the bar and then a bottle of champagne in the hotel before going to bed around 5am QPR are popular throughout the world - not just in West London.

Watched it on Sunday, just reread the match report and really enjoying it. Just the player 'gogglebox' thing to watch next.
Can anyone remember, the second leg semi. Did Clint do a similar thing and volunteer to come off? I do remember Yun came on and was really good down the left.
I remember being really disappointed when I heard Morrison wasn't playing, he had been instrumental with some brilliant goals in helping us avoid missing the playoffs completely. Redknapp had obviously set us up to contain Derby and this was further illustrated with Traore for Kanjcar to keep the balance and two banks of four.
Did Dunne make any mistake in the whole game. Is it too late to put in an appeal for a mark of ten?

I'm still amazed Mason never gave Derby a Pen for Dunne's challenge on Will Hughes.
Looked nailed on at the time, and every time I watch it back I still think that could/should have been given.
I'd be screaming for it if that was the other way round.
The whole back 5 were superb, but yes in particular Dunne alongside Chief, and Green was faultless.

There's one angle from behind, W7, and it shows clearly that he dived and also that Mason could see that. In fairness, Mason's positioning was excellent.

Yeah he deffo makes the most of it, I'm sure there's contact though isn't there?
Don't their knees connect and then he goes down. Seen less given.
And it was Mason don't forget!!
That last half hour was horrendous to sit through. I've never felt so sick watching a game. Almost like a slow death, it was torture, an inevitability about what was to come... at some point...eventually!
For me that's what made the celebration of Bobby's goal like no other I've ever felt/experienced. Like the perfect storm. 10 men, no shots on target, hanging on, play off final, extra time looming (Cardiff all over again!), maybe we'll hang on (but lose on Pens), typical QPR...

Green played an absolute blinder. For all the criticism he took he played a blinder that day. Dunne and Ned were unbeatable. Gary O'Neil had to take one for the team. Remember the celebration at Loftus Road a day or so later. He got a standing ovation and he was expecting pelters. Mason didn't make the red card decision, the lino did. I forgot that. It was the right call to be fair. Traore had a much better game than I remember. As did Hoilett. Hill loved every second on and off the field that day. Barton also had a stormer and won everything. Zamoraaaaaaaa.... Always had a chance with him there. It's such a calm finish. My god we defended well that day. Even better with 10 men.
