Match of the Day didn’t replay the free kick or mention Eze in the analysis bit. Utterly bizarre.

Especially as he got MOTM (if fantasy football is anything to go by).

He's getting to grips with their rigid formation, his position on the left of a midfield bank of four, I think. Hopefully, if Zaha moves on sometime he can get a freer role to really show his talents.

Think he'd suit their system better, surprised they didn't follow up their initial interest - which is probably what they thought yesterday.

Fair play for forcing his way into Roy's 442. Chuffed for him myself.

Poll: Best hug a stranger / fall down five rows / 'limbs' late goals this season

While we’re talking about the division above, anyone see Fulham’s last gasp penalty miss? Lol.

Blimey!

Something to be said for the Dykes method!

On MOTD interviewer asked him if he did that (The FK) all the time.

Not ALL the time, he replied.

Hmmm, no I thought - he didn't ever score one of those for us did he?

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Great to see him do so well, and still a bit sorry that it didn't work out for Luke Freeman in the PL.

Remember the old days blast it as hard as you can close to the corner and if you dont score there is a juicy rebound sitting there as long as you have followed up after impact.
I am slightly surprised at how many are shot straight down the middle these days some at full run up without waiting to see where the keeper is going.
As for the Fulham attempt that was pathetic and a vital point kicked away .
I know Sheffield,Burnely and a couple more teams are bad but every chance at points count this year more than ever

At the moment difficult to see beyond Fulham, Burnley and Sheff Utd as the 3 to go

Scored one against Wigan for us, our first direct free kick goal for more than two years, but it was low and around the wall not up and over.

Cheers - thought I might have missed one.

As he grows into the team, do you think Palace more likely to cash in Zaha in the summer now?

Not the same sort of player I know but just wondered?

'He's scored more Premier League goals than Brentford', ha indeed.

When watching MoTD on Sunday morning, my 6 year old looked up at the TV screen and instantly recognised Eze.
In the three games we went to over last Christmas, Eze was easily his favourite. Needed no encouragement from me, my boy, at 5, could see how good he was to watch even though he'd never been to a game before.

He was so excited to see him on TV and didn't twig that he wasn't actually playing for QPR (I never told him we sold him).

Miss him a lot and would rather have him still at the club than the £20m but it was inevitable and beneficial for both parties, especially as what was to unfold in the world shortly after.

He seems a good fit at Palace but I'd like him to take the next step up in 2-3 years and see if he can do it in a team that is playing European football.

You’ll have no-one else to blame when your son wants a Palace shirt for Christmas.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

Thankfully no chance, he loves his QPR shirts (he has quite a few already, home & away) especially last seasons Tiffany green as mum works for Tiffany's!
