Going in one up totally deserved. WW making a good fist of it but we rarely looked troubled and their press is making it difficult for us but can only see us scoring more goals in the 2nd half
Jo Jo having a great half. Willock makes such a difference up top gives us so much movement

I like the line up, lots of attacking.

It looks like when the ball is on our side of the pitch, Chair is in the #9 position stretching the defence and Charlie drops to the #10 and comes pack to help out and distribute. When we have the ball near Wycombe's goal, Charlie and Chair go 2 up top.

One more goal required to make sure.
12th spot if we win as Blackburn have drawn.
All credit to Wycombe.
They've harassed us when possible.
They surely play for their manager Ainsworth.
That Dieng save from Mehmeti may make all the difference.
However we are a much slicker outfit.
Some good passing and good movement off the ball.
All our loan players de Wijs, Johansen, Field and Charlie outstanding again tonight plus the vastly improved Willock.
One more goal. Not much to ask!

Happy with our defending of high balls. Jo-Jo playing well, others in patches. But we need to be better in possession. We've given it away far too cheaply so far and if this game was 1-1 we could have no complaints.

Very decent first half, pretty even overall but we’ve definitely looked like the better team. Wycombe have been exactly as expected - aggressive, intense, but maybe lacking a bit of quality at either end of the pitch.

Willock and Johansen both excellent, Chair looking revitalised for having more technical players around him, back 3 looking solid despite Wycombe having a decent number of chances.

Key thing is going to be keeping our own energy levels up - when we move the ball quickly it looks like that second goal is inevitable, when we’ve dropped off a bit we’ve let Wycombe back into it.
