You have to believe it’s there and you’ll be saved if you do but put that into any other aspect of life and you’ll probably be sectioned.
Sex, is usually a bad thing, but we are all a product of it. Enjoying it is the bad bit apparently. So say people that probably w ank themselves to sleep most nights.
And their religion is the only true religion. Or they’re going to do you some harm.
Peaceful and loving religion.
Do cats believe in God? I only answer to felines. ( I was going to say pussy but I’m above that sort of thing. I’m a tit man).
Why believe in life after love. Why worry. We’ll never know really, will we?
And if I’m wrong. Who cares? I bet Hod has better things to do. Probably having a quick W ank is one them.
i am not going to go deep into this, religion is a serious issue and means so much to so many, personally i don't follow the sandal, i follow the gourd!
if God is omnipresent - would be pretty difficult for it to be in possession of sexual organs
I thought that was the original subject of the old song, "he's here he's there he's every f^*king where,"
Organised religion with heaven and hell, a brilliant device developed by rich people to allow them to sleep at night without having their throats cut by poor people
“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow He just can't handle money!” ― George Carlin

"religion is a serious issue and means so much to so many" - indeed it does but in my experience people who take religion very seriously do not react well to people who don't.
In extreme cases this is when people start getting hurt or killed.

Hell fire and eternal torment isn't taught in the bible. That's the churches twist on it. The word hell simply means grave. Not a lit match in sight..lol
As you will probably guess form this Im atheist, but this was only after thoughts like this:
1 - religion has mostly tried to make sense of the world, long before science actually could .
2 - most religions preach love and peace. a code of how you should live and live well - thats not bad thing.
but:
3 - how come i was born in the UK to Christian parents, but if i was born a thousand miles south east i would have been a Muslim, or something else but Im supposed to accept that we are right and they arent about who the go person is (even if they are two sides of the same coin).
4 - how religion is responsible for wars and deaths and continues to be so. mainly through increasingly disparate interpretations of the same book (Sunni vs Shia for example)
5 -how sooo many of those people who are meant to be the leaders of religion are - to put it mildly - wrong uns
6 - how the churches remain rich, even in poor places.
7 - how religious leaders keep trying to change the views of others (sometimes forcibly) rather than tolerating differences.

If God omnipresent, and doesn't need man or lady parts, why does God need arms, legs or any other human shaped body parts... and yet apparently "god created man in his image"?
well, I have no belief and quite envy those who do, in a way.
But lots of broad stereotypes on this thread.
Religious people, or people with belief, have helped me in the past, including when i was homeless, with their belief being a vehicle to channel their good nature.
My best mate over here is very religious, doesn't have a problem with my lack of belief. Interesting bloke, spent 5 years going to mosques, believes there is one god, just different ways of celebrating him.
I have worked for some of the sociopathic super rich over here (Someone has to pick up their dog's shit), I don't think any of them were religious, to add some context to who is or isn't a wrong 'un.
