Stroud at it again 21:26 - Nov 20 with 6154 viewsstowmarketrange

Everyone’s favourite clown was at it again today at Swansea. He turned down at least 3 penalty shouts for the swans today. It resulted in a draw rather than a win for swansea.
I think he missed 2 penalty shouts the last time he refereed one of their games, which was just before his performance at Bournemouth in our defeat.
Glad to see he spent the international break honing his refereeing skills.

Agree about the 3rd one - penalty for me as well.

Was that not the one you saw on Sunday though?Or was it another one?

No, as I said above Sky only choose to show 1 - a very weak appeal when attacker went through on GK, defender got back and they all landed in a heap - the least convincing of the 3.

Its still on Sky Sport free to air videos if you STILL don't believe me!

It IS odd that they choose to put that one in and not the one I thought, like you, WAS a pen.

I mean if you don’t think that’s a penalty gaz I don’t think we’re going to find common ground here

ListenNorf, rules nowadays are farcical as far as I am concerned....how do I know what refs give & why in those circumstances and that isn't just Stroud . I still cant believe that Willock stayed on the pitch when he kicked another player. Pinner said no but when I talk to ex FL refs that referred at top level they tell me 'of course, he should be sent off'.....

judging by how quick they get stuff up at the end of games, i think quite often you get stuff weighted to first half incidents as the highlights need to be edited and uploaded very soon after the final whistle. could be wrong!

Bare bones.

No arguments whatsoever mate, just giving the facts from a Sunday morning ref and two ex FL refs that refereed at the highest level in the country.....thats it mate .....sadly the views from a Sunday morning ref and two ex FL refs are the opposite so that is why I am confused. Understand??

Yep and don't really want to go over it again mate.

Best referee in the world can't judge something he hasn't actually seen and as I pointed out at the time, 'ex refs' rarely keep up with the numerous law changes that have taken place over the years - hence Beckham's kick WAS a red card, Willock's wasn't - understand?
